Community Clean-up, June 2018

The Yellow Brick Road
(this popular path, also known as 'The Old Stockport Canal' or 'The Dry Canal', links the Fallowfield Loop at Debdale to the Ashton Canal towpath)

Saturday 2nd June 2018
Registration will start at 10am at either end of the path

Volunteers wanted - if you haven't done volunteering before, do come along and try it !

Litter picking equipment provided. All ages welcome!


FLOOP/Debdale Registration - Gorton Community Centre (GCC), Highmead St, M18 8PE
Ashton Canal Registration - Strawberry Duck canal-side pub on the Ashton canal, Crabtree Lane, M11 4GU


Refreshments will be provided throughout the day at the GCC by the Manchester City Council Neighbourhoods team

At 4pm, there will be an optional cycle/walk from the GCC to the Strawberry Duck pub where we can reflect on the day's achievements and discuss how we might keep the path clean on an on-going basis
